Each character can perform a taunt to insult his opponent. This gains him some Super Art energy as well as a temporary boost to his attack or defense for a limited time. Beware that your character is exteremely vulnerable to attack during the taunt. |

Each character can dash left or right on the ground with a burst of speed, allowing you to approach enemies offensively or jump away much more quickly depending on the situation! |

A new feature to the game, parrying allows you to deflect an opponent's attacks without taking any form of damage and earns you a TECH-HIT. Timing is crucial and mastery of this skill will definitely improve your game! |

Use this technique near an opponent to throw him, be it from the ground or even while airborne. Each character throws their enemy in a different manner based on their fighting style. The same command is used for a Defensive Fall, to reduce damage from being thrown where your character safely falls on the ground, earning you a TECH-HIT. |

Use this manuever to quickly recover when struck with a knockdown blow. This allows your character to roll forward and avoid being floored by your opponent's move. |

CREATE YOUR OWN COMBO!
Don't stop with just one hit! You can also perform combos in the ground or in the air! When your character hits your opponent, attack again immediately! You can even cancel a normal move into a Special Attack and link a Special Attack it into a Super Art.. Devastating combos indeed!
PERFORM COUNTERATTACKS!
When you guard against an opponent's attack, cancel your guard by unleashing your own special attack. This stops a flurry from your opponent, turning a good defense into a good offense. The technique is difficult to master at first, but is invaluable once you get it down. Quick reversal attacks from blocking and getting up will help you get out of sticky situations, and if you're on the daring side, try to parry your opponent's attacks!

THE ART OF PARRYING!
Parrying is also known as offensive blocking. At the precise moment the attack about to hit the character, perform the parry by pushing the lever forward. If done right, the impact flashes and your character deflects the attack: normal, special, projectiles, and even some Super Arts without suffering tick damage! It's all in careful anticipation of attacks!
